Course Description:
The basic goal of the OSHA 10-hour Program is to ensure employers and employees know about work hazards and how to protect themselves. Both public and private employers are required to provide training to their employees who may be exposed to hazardous conditions in the workplaces. It has been our experience that people who work in the Water and Wastewater industry face potentially life-threatening situations almost every day.
Within the Texas Administrative Code, OSHA regulations are referred to in many different applications. Therefore, Baldwin EHS Consultants has put together a training program that addresses both OSHA regulations and provides Continued Education Units that a TCEQ licensed Water or Wastewater Operator must have.
Employees and employers receive multiple benefit: Employees receives industry specific instruction, an OSHA 10-hour card and CEUs. Employers fulfil the requirement to provide safety training, fulfil continuous education for employees and contain costs. The desired outcome of the training is to help to reduce the incidence leading to workplace accidents, illness, and injuries and to reinforce safe work practices.
